Fledgling Education CIC is led by four directors, bringing together complementary experience across education, family counselling and business.
Our team includes a Teaching Assistant, alongside directors with expertise in family counselling and business development. Together, we bring a broad range of skills and perspectives to support our work with children, families, schools and communities.

Fledgling Education was founded by Felicity Hawkins, an experienced educator and creative practitioner with a passion for changing the way we understand and communicate with children.
After more than 20 years working in education, including leadership roles focused on behaviour, Felicity created Fledgling Education to bring together education, creativity, emotional understanding and empathy.
Her work is driven by a simple belief: when we take the time to understand what sits beneath behaviour, we create better opportunities for connection, communication and change.
Through Fledgling Education, Felicity works with schools, families and communities to create experiences that put empathy at the first act of understanding.
